This is Part 3 in the five
part series that talks about whether or
not DubLi is the next eBay. In order to
answer this question, it is important to
understand how the two companies are built
in terms of its business model, sustainability
and revenue generation systems. So is DubLi
the next eBay one may ask? Simply put, DubLi
will NOT be the next eBay, but it may become
the largest online shopping portal and reverse
auction e-commerce web site in the world
very soon. There really isn’t a direct
comparison when it comes to how revenue
is generated through the two sites, so it
is an unfair comparison for either online
shopping giant to pit it against each other.
eBay is strictly an auction
site that creates a medium for sellers to
sell their items to online buyers. DubLi
sells its own merchandise and items (purchased
from big manufacturers) and resells them
through the Shopping Mall or reverse auctions.
So will DubLi be the next eBay? No, because
their business models and online stores
are completely different. Is DubLi the next
eBay type phenomenon? Yes, DubLi will take
the world by storm because of its exciting,
new, and innovative ways to save on everyday
items through online shopping.

The Power of Network Marketing
through DubLi That Does Not Exist on eBay
When it comes to business models, network
marketing has been seen as the best way
to increase profits, increase revenues and
expand customer bases. All three of these
are essential in a sustainable business
model. DubLi is based on a network marketing
business model, which means that Business
Associates and Partners help promote the
online shopping site while getting commissions
and residual income from purchases from
new customers. eBay is not a network marketing
site. It is solely based on sellers auctioning
their items to buyers. So is Dubli the next
eBay? No, it is not. DubLi’s network
marketing business model is more sustainable
in the future and will likely attract larger
numbers of customers and merchants as it
grows and expands globally. The question
should actually be reversed. Is eBay the
next DubLi? With the existing question,
is DubLi the next eBay? It is assumed that
DubLi is a replica or has copied eBay, which
is not true at all. The underlying business
model of DubLi’s network marketing
engine is very different from the auction
engine of eBay. It may be just time before
eBay changes their business model to include
network marketing and other forms of revenue
generation.
Storefront Solutions from
DubLi, eBay and Amazon
All three online shopping giants allows
businesses and individuals to profit from
creating their own branded storefront solutions.
The Amazon Storefront Solution which is
also called the Amazon Web Store is simply
a website that promotes already existing
items, products and merchandise that the
company sells. The Storefront Solution or
Amazon Web Store owner gets a commission
of the sales. However, the eBay Store is
where individuals or businesses can upsell
their own auctioned items. So is DubLi the
next eBay? No again, because the DubLi Partner
Program works on the same level and scale
as the Amazon Web Store. Essentially, a
DubLi Partner purchases an annual subscription
to host their own branded auction and shopping
mall portal site that contains items already
being sold on DubLi.com. The DubLi Partner
just gets a commission from any credit or
product sold through their own DubLi Storefront.
Of course, all three giants provide great
business solutions that include the Amazon
Seller Central, the Amazon Pro Merchant
as well as eBay Stores, but none are simpler
or more profitable then the DubLi Partner
Storefront Solutions. So when it comes to
the question, is DubLi the next eBay, the
answer is a simple ‘no’ as the
business model from the customer and corporate
standpoints are completely different and
will never be the same.
Is DubLi the Next eBay?
Sellers, Buyers and Corporate Perspectives
Again, these online shopping e-commerce
auction portal web sites provide different
services to all three segments of the internet
population. For eBay, it gives individuals
as well as businesses the opportunity to
sell their own items through an auction.
Amazon is geared more towards the sellers
or merchants who wish to sell their line
of products through an established e-commerce
website. Same goes for DubLi where established
retailers can form partnerships and become
Merchants providing Reward Points to consumers.
From the buyers point of view, is DubLi
the next eBay? We think not. We believe
that DubLi customers will have a leg up
on those who use eBay simply because of
the price guarantee through the reverse
auction business model. Remember that the
lowest price wins on DubLi, while the highest
bidder wins on eBay. Which would you choose.
Is DubLi the next Amazon? Again, no, Amazon
products seem to sell for higher prices
all the time. Remember that individuals
can only list on eBay. Merchants can list
on all three. DubLi gives more incentives
for merchants than Amazon, while Amazon
definitely gives more incentives to retailers
than eBay. So in the end, is DubLi the next
eBay? It never will, but will likely surpass
eBay as the largest online retailer, shopping
mall and auction portal on the internet,
globally. Click
